About Me

Born in Queens, NY into a colorful Italian family, Antonio Carusone has been in the creative arts since he was a child. Currently he resides in NYC, where he is an Senior Art Director at Ogilvy, and oversees projects, which have included Nestle, Cisco, Time Warner Cable, Lays, Dial, Red Stripe, AOL, NFL, Gillette, Cingular, Audi, Verizon, and Bank of America. He has also won Caple Design Awards for his work on Wisk and Jose Cuervo.

Antonio is also the author of AisleOne, a popular blog focused on graphic design and typography, and The Grid System, an ever-growing resource on grid systems and part of the Thinking for a Living Network.

The Thinking for a Living Network

The Thinking for a Living Network is built on friendship, passion and a dedication to the craft of design. The Network is an alliance of like-minded individuals who are experimenting with publishing and education through a series of topic specific sites, conferences, workshops and publications. The Network includes Thinking for a Living, The Grid System, AisleOne, The Design Manifesto, Design Facts, More Substance, and Thought & Theory and is organized by Shane Bzdok, Antonio Carusone, Frank Chimero, Ian Coyle, J. Ellis and Duane King.
